My most important career goal is to learn something new every day and continue to be a competent and efficient Registered Nurse. With patience and persistence I wish to continue on the path of advanced degrees in Nursing. With the well-rounded experience I am receiving as a Float Pool RN, I can use these varied skills- along with my BSN degree- to transfer into a position that allows me to continue within the clinical aspects of nursing while also allowing me to focus on quality and administration. I am also interested in teaching. Teaching patients, families, my fellow nurses as well as within the community. I am also very interested in stoke care and preventative care as well as learning more concerning the up and coming changes within healthcare administration, so I am keeping my mind open to all of the above possibilities. These learning opportunities can allow for flexibility within my career and transitions into different fields of nursing. In this way I will be contributing to the field of nursing-namely through leading, teaching and continued clinical education.
