Who is Mieke?
Mieke is an only-child!
Mieke is a mom! Her children are Katie-10 and Alex-13, as well as a step-son Jesse-31!
Mieke is a wife and best friend to Ed, married 21 years!
Mieke is a Registered Nurse, working in the float pool, who graduated with honors in 2006 from an ADN Program in Florida.
Mieke knew she wanted to become a Registered Nurse after the birth of her two babies, born at 35 and 34 weeks respectively. Her experiences in the NICU inspired her!
Mieke enjoys taking walks with her husband, cuddling with her children, watching them play sports and volunteering at their school. She likes to learn and is bored when she is not challenged!
Mieke really enjoys family trips to Tahoe, Chicago, Florida and Santa Cruz.
Mieke loves her career in nursing and the continued learning that nursing demands. As well, Mieke appreciates a balance of quality time to just be lazy, hangout with family and catch up on Days of Our Lives.
Mieke loves her husband’s Tofu Scrambles, Italian food, chocolate….oh, heck…anything sweet!
Mieke Personal Dreams: a trip to Ireland with her husband, run (walk) a marathon, for her children to be happy and healthy.
